Harland does VOICES.

Most people don't know that I do quite a bit of voice work, so for those of you who want to see some of my many cartoon characters, here you go! Enjoy!

PUPPY DOG  PALS

This incredible show is a show that I created and have been working on with Disney for 6 years. I do several voices (Bob, in this clip) alongside a STAR STUDDED cast of other voices. The show revolves around the adventures of two hilarious pug puppies named BINGO and ROLLY

   HARLAND IN THE RECORDING BOOTH

HARLAND IN THE RECORDING BOOTH RECORDING 'BOB'  WITH ROLLY and BINGO!

This beautiful Disney movie cast me as CARL the Robot. I got to improvise a lot of lines but some didn't make the cut as you can see in this fun clip. Regardless, the director, Steve Anderson was great and I had a blast. The movie is about the plight of an adopted boy and I found out during production that Steve was adopted and the movie became that much closer to my heart

MEET THE ROBINSONS - CARL

This  edgy ABC show cast me as BUCKLEY the fat cat. A show about two talking cats that were always looking for the easy way out. Fun! My sidekick on this series (the orange cat) was re-cast 3 times. The role finally went to comedian Sinbad, who did a great job!

SLACKER CATS - BUCKLEY

This was the toughest voice job I've ever had. I voiced the NEWT in Ned's Newt. Newt was a character that changed voices and personas with almost every line. It was tough on my throat and Newt's insane energy actually exauhsted me. I was spent after these recording sessions. But, I had tons of fun finding all the various voices.

NED'S NEWT - NEWT

This hilarious show was done in claymation style. The story of Gary and Mike, two young dudes who run away from their lives and roadtrip across America. I voiced MIKE, a weasley slacker always on the take. The adult humor was so fun and silly. Little known fact BRIAN CRANSTON from BREAKING BAD did a lot of the incidental voices for some of the supporting characters. One of the nicest guys I've ever met.

GARY AND MIKE - MIKE

Voicing MONSTER for Nickeloden was one of my favorite roles. Monster is so sweet and innocent and so full of love that it filled me with joy to be his voice. I was super sad when this playful show was cancelled. Monster will always be forever in my heart.

ROBOT AND MONSTER - MONSTER

What a thrill to be in this racy R-Rated movie. I voiced the KETCHUP, the BABAGANUSH and a human character, the DRUG DEALER. Originally I read all the scratch tracks for many of the lead characters. Scratch tracks are voice tracks used to get the timing down with peliminary animation.

SASUAGE PARTY - KETCHUP and MORE

This smash Disney Jr. show cast me as CAPTAIN FROST. I tapped into my French Canadian roots to help find his fun french accent.

JAKE AND THE NEVERLAND PIRATES - CAPTAIN FROST

ROBOTS - LUG

Cast as LUG in this star studded CGI movie was a blast. Big, goofy, and loveable, Lug, was part of the main cast ensamble.  It was a thrill to be in a movie with comedy ledgends Mel Brooks and Robin Williams, not to mention Halle Berry of course. This movie came at a time when big, feature CGI movies were just starting to happen, so it added an extra layer of fun and excitment to the whole thing. These style of movies were still pretty new to the public. The movie initially centered around Ewan Mcgregor's character and his posse (including Lug) But when Robin Williams came on board a lot of stuff was cut and Robin took over the whole movie. It's easy to see why when you watch the movie. What a talnet. Making the Williams name proud, Ha!

I didn't have a ton of lines in this great Dreamworks movie but it was such an honor to be voicing a giraffe character in this wonderful, funny, franchise. I'm a huge David Schwimmer fan who voiced the lead giraffe.

MADAGASCAR 2 - GIRAFFE

KICK BUTTOWSKI - PANTSY

PANTSY was part of the ensemble on this high energy Disney cartoon about Kick, a young, fearless, daredevil. Pantsy was part of the local gang of kids and always wore 3-D glasses for some unexplained reason. Tons of fun!

SKYLANDERS ACEDEMY - HUGO

HUGO is part of a great ensemble cast in this beautiful NETFLIX cartoon based on one of the world's most popular video games. I came up with Hugo's voice using a mixture of Woody Allen and Edith Bunker, plus a touch of Aunt Ruthy, a character I invented for my podcast.

TODD

SAMMY - TODD

SAMMY was a series based on actor David Spade's family. It centered around David's Hollywood life and his drunk father and family who came to live at his estate. I voiced TODD, David's dimwitted brother. We finished 13 episodes of the show but it did so poorly with critics and in the ratings they pulled it off the air after two airings. Too bad, it was a lot of fun and had a great cast.
